Love …..

Love is like a rose with its thorns.. if you are not careful when you pick a rose, you can poke yourself with the thorns.  It hurts your fingers and sometimes the thorn pokes you deep enough that you bleed.

Same with love, it’s the most beautiful feeling in the world.  Love also has its components to make it beautiful such as trust, faithfulness, respect, honor, loyalty.  When one of the component is missing, it hurts your heart because love is not complete.  Betrayal of love will make your heart bleed.

There is also this special love called unconditional love, that is given by God to all humankind.  That love is without string attach. You don’t have to do anything to earn His love, because of His love for you, He sacrificed His son to die on the cross for your sins.

If you ever want to know His love, open your heart and invite Him in and you will be overtaken by His love.  He smiled the day you were born, because He made you wonderfully 🙂

What Love Can Be….

Love comes in first sight and meeting the right person, then you nurture love with tender loving care, love grows into a beautiful experience that makes your heart swell and put you on top of the mountain.  Suddenly, trials come and love is tested, but love endures because of loyalty and faithfulness.  Love can be lost in disappointment, dies with betrayal and unfaithfulness – Frank Shinoda

That is the process of love and we always hope love will last forever.  But, that is not always the case because love involves two people.  Unless we both walk together in love, hand in hand, heart to heart, love won’t survive with only one person wanting it.  Love does not need to be spoken but can be felt in the heart.

Love is simple and complicated but powerful.  Love can take you to the mountain top, or crush you and break your heart.  You wonder when you can feel alive again.  But love with time can heal your broken heart.  You can love yourself and heal your broken heart,  so the next time love knocking at the door of your heart, you will be ready to love again 🙂

Believe In Yourself

I read above saying this morning, I could not help but think about it all day.  The saying is very profound about confidence.  I started watching the birds in my backyard.  I notice birds will fly and stand on the branch and never circles around to do so.  The bird has every confidence that the branch will hold their weight and will not make them fall.  Even when the branch breaks, the bird will fly before it hits the ground.

As human, we are different, we have doubt and unbelief.  We tend to calculate a lot of things in our lives.  We will doubt the branch, if it can hold our weight, if it will break, the branch is too small, etc.  We don’t trust ourselves to just make the landing.

We doubt our potential because we are afraid to make the first step, afraid of failures.  A lot of times, others see our potential but we can’t because we don’t believe in ourselves, our own wings.

If we put our mind into something, and have all confidence that we can do it, a lot of times we make it to the other side.  We can believe on our own wings 🙂 The bird only has its wings to back them up, but we have God to back us up 100% if we believe in ourselves and trust Him, because He will not let us fall.  He is always there to catch you because He loves you very much that He gives His son for you 🙂

Worry Does Not….

There is no joy in worrying as it only robs your happiness. We can worry and worry and it will not solve any problem, but will imprison us into fear. Sometimes what we worry doesn’t matter at the end of the day. When we concentrate on worrying about the “what if”, we might lose sight and missing what is important today.

Today has its own troubles. So, trust God and believe that He knows everything and He is working behind the scene on our behalf. In the meantime, seize the moment, look at your surroundings and enjoy the good things that has been bestowed upon you because you are blessed beyond imaginations 🙂
